Markets such as the Old Fruitmarket, Cheesemarket and Fish Market have been transformed into concert venues, upmarket bars, and sophisticated restaurant plazas. Small boutiques and designer outlets have moved into Ingram Street. Trongate has witnessed public realm improvements which is beginning to reap rewards with new investment to the area, such as Selfridges.
